This particular project incurred major structural steel installation, as to extend the rear and the side of the existing kitchen area new steel floor beams and columns had to be installed. With this kind of works being undertaken the build process had to be re-thought, as it was never an option to remove the side walls of the existing building as the build progressed as the client would have had to vacate the site. Huey Construction Ltd had to build the entire extension (leaving out the 1st floor) and get the building weather tight before removing the ground floor walls and installing the new steel beams. This adding time to the overall build programme but actually giving the customer the option to live in there home during the construction process. The clients are currently taking to us about sanitary ware, kitchens and hardwood floor finishes that were not within our original brief but look like being incorporated into out package and being completed within the original 22 week programme. New master bedroom suite to the 1st floor, 1 new ground floor office area and double garage.Works are from ground works to final decorations and carpet installation time of site 8 months. 
Huey Construction provided The Miller House with two new bathrooms in Dec/Jan in 2007 for this private house. The bathrooms were designed by Ripples Bathroom Centre of Newbury and fully installed, tiled and decorated by Huey Construction. Each bathroom took 5 weeks to complete and the level of finish is perfect. All of the works were carried out by our bathroom engineer Mr Simon Brother.
